Dublin City University (DCU)
The DCU-based National Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR) was established in 1999 to create a focus for research into novel and innovative sensor platforms. The NCSR comprises several highly successful research Clusters with ca. 250 researchers, and has participated in many EC Framework projects. DCU will lead on management, exploitation and dissemination activities and will provide novel adaptive materials for fluid control and engineering of prototype devices to the project.

- Postdoctoral researcher with 8 years experience in sensor development employing novel polymeric materials
- Expertise in stimuli responsive materials, polymer chemistry, colorimetric chemistry, optical detection platforms, materials/physical chemistry, device prototyping
Dr. Aymen Ben Azouz – Postdoctoral Research Engineer
- Postdoctoral Researcher overseeing all engineering aspects of the project
- Multi disciplinary background engineer with over 8 years of experience in research and industry
- Expertise in design and prototyping of electro-mechanic assemblies, development of control and sensing systems and in microfluidic fabrication techniques
